Overview

Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1263, by Mademus. The establishment of Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v's construction back out of the project. Mademus pushed on reguardles, and Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v is buildings are located arround a single spacious packed earth mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The city's would-be-castle fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the city.

A look around Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v shows Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The city has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Víhpi̊cu Ji̊ Qi̊v places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.
